Somebody Safe

A painting I did for my Mythology class. We are reading Neil Gaiman's book Neverwhere for our Modern Myth and we had to illustrate a scene with ither drawing or collage. I really wanted to paint Door. She is such an awesome character.

I chose to paint the moment when Door realizes that Mr. Croup and Mr. Vandemar had back her into an alley with no way out.

Note the exploaded remains of Mr. Ross on her face.
